How Acuere Technology Enhances Mary’s House Services’ Use of Blackbaud eTapestry to Support Victim Survivors of Domestic Violence

Mary’s House Services has been working with the services of Acuere Technology in various forms and utilising their professional consultancy services for over 2 years. 

 

At our inception, we licensed the use of a globally renowned CRM system, Blackbaud eTapestry, for our not-for-profit organisation, which supports victim survivors of domestic and family violence. Blackbaud eTapestry serves as a crucial record-keeping system, managing our donor records and coordinating with other service providers.

Initially, our organisation was run by volunteers. However, as we grew into a professional service with dedicated employees, it became imperative to seek expert advice on operating the system. Today, we employ a full-time Philanthropy and communications manager and a database coordinator, underscoring the ongoing need to optimise Blackbaud eTapestry and effectively communicate with our network and community.

Our collaboration with Acuere has been exceptional.

This partnership has enabled us to innovate and grow as an organisation, recently surpassing the provision of 14,000 safe room nights to women and children escaping domestic and family violence at our refuge and in more recent times expanding our service to offer outreach programs to victim- survivors of domestic abuse still living in the community.

Notably, Acuere has supported us during staff transitions, addressed challenges related to local donor access and account management, and provided expert methodologies to leverage the system for long-term growth and competitiveness. Their commitment to regular check-ins, workshops, and availability for queries, both simple and complex, is highly valued by our team.
